Custom hat FAQ: what you need to know before ordering

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?+
Our MOQ is 500 pcs per style. Within one style you can mix panel colours and decoration placements, which helps smaller brand programs reach the minimum comfortably.
How long do samples take?+
Pre-production samples take 7–10 days including embroidery approval. We sew a physical sample so you can check fabric hand, fit and decoration before bulk starts.
What customisation options are available?+
Flat and 3D puff embroidery, woven patches, PVC and leather labels, screen printing, laser engraving, custom tags and hang tags, plus custom-dyed fabric matched to your Pantone.
How long does bulk production take?+
Bulk production typically runs 20–35 days depending on quantity, decoration and finishing, with in-line QC and a pre-shipment inspection before packing.
Do you handle international shipping?+
Yes — sea freight, air freight and express by DHL/FedEx/UPS, FOB Shenzhen or delivered door-to-door, with export documents prepared by our team.
Can you match a specific Pantone colour?+
Yes. We develop custom-dyed fabric against your Pantone or physical swatch and send a lab-dip before bulk starts. Stock colours are available for faster turnaround.
Do you work with brands that order bags too?+
Yes — Merris Headwear is part of Dongguan Merris Bag Co., Ltd., which also makes custom bags through merrisbags.com. One team can manage both programs and combine shipments.
